Surfing World Cubelles
The adventure of the Club Deportivo Surfing World Cubelles begins on the 15th of September of 2015, after a summer of beach reunions between three friends passionate about the world of surfing. José created the first surf school in Cubelles making his dream reality but he didn’t know that meeting Carlos, a sailor, and Pablo, an other freesurfer, his school will become quickly the Club that we are now.
We enjoy our passion sharing experiences and teaching, and our goal is to promote the practice of surfing and its different modalities in a mediterranean region where nobody could expect to see any surfer a few years ago. The typical place where people say “There are no waves here”. The challenge is huge, and we knew it, but the way we are growing shows us every day that it’s possible. The main purpose of C.E. Surfing World Cubelles is to establish in our coast a surfer community where it doesn’t matter your age, your level, or anything else tan surfing and enjoying.
As a surf club we also aim to create locals championships in the future and to be represented in others.
Nowadays our school is localized on the beach of La Mota de Sant Pere in Cubelles, a small town at halfway between Barcelona and Tarragona. We settled our school/container in a privileged area into the sand, in the middle of a beach near 1,8Km long and more than 100m of yellow sand until the shore of the Mediterranean sea… It’s sound like a paradise and it may be one of them, moreover when there are waves.
As our name says, our principal activity is surfing and we develop all what this sport includes: surf lessons, grassroots sport, trainings, sportmanship, responsibility, security, psychomotricity adapted to surfing, workshops.
Within those notions, you could try in Surfing World Cubelles other sports such as: Stand Up Paddle, Skimboarding, Longboard/Skateboard, SUPYoga and more parallel activities as kayak, balance board, slackline, etc…
As we wanted to grow and to make us know, we knew that working alone in Cubelles won’t bring us any success. So we started searching for experienced people and brands who would understand our position of beginners because they had a similar start or because they shared the same way of thinking, people who could help us during our beginnings and who would become true collaborators. The world of skimboarding is not so big so we found easily GoZone on internet with there amazing videos and boards and their answer was a message of optimism and full of good vibrations. Since this day our collaboration hasn’t stopped and the same way we brought together GoZone to Cubelles coast, GoZone is doing the same with us in Poland… We never would have expected that before, and are just willing to bring the team to Spain and meet them!.. until the day we will travel to Poland!

Skimzone Belgium
A few woards about us: We are Kristof & Bart at the age of 32, we wanted to do a kind of boardsport in water and thats why we chose skimboarding. We can skim almoust everywhere we choose skimboarding because its easy to learn you don’t need wind or waves just thin water so we also started Skimzone Belgium this year. We want to get better, each time, each skim sesch we engage and teach people.
We want to organize a skimfest and many more so after creating skimzone belgium we looked for boards so we met Micheal from Gozone Skimboards from Poland. We talked a lot and then we choose pro boards so the package came in belgium and it was nice not only 2 boards but many more stuff e.g gifts, stickers, hand badgets and more. We really recomended that boards and I sure that we will get more and more from GoZone ! We want to grow up, meet more riders, meet all gozone team.
